without a trace of carpet in our new home, our first purchase was slippers. i tried to find some that were not pink, but couldn't, so i'm stuck with yet another pair of slightly ugly pink slippers - though the bow is redeeming, no?
yesterday, as i sat with an acquaintance having a cup of coffee in a shop, i had a slightly panicky moment where i thought i still had my slippers on instead of proper shoes. my feet physically felt like they were tucked in these cosy pink muffs. i'm not certain, but i think that this means i've been doing too much home computering in my slippers...
